Still stuck on the aging iOS 8? Well, it's time to update to iOS 10.2 now and jailbreak it. Here's how to do it.
We will be using Tihmstar's Prometheus utility to perform the upgrade. Before you begin the upgrade process, you must first enable tfp0 patch on Pangu8 jailbreak.

You must upgrade quickly before Apple stops signing iOS 10.3.1. This will ensure your TouchID remains intact because iOS 10.3.1 SEP is compatible with iOS 10.2.
Just like all other tools, Prometheus requires valid SHSH blobs. This tutorial will be useless if you don't have valid SHSH blobs.
SHSH blobs are what allow you to upgrade or downgrade to unsigned firmware versions.

- A jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 8
- A computer running Windows/Mac/Linux
- A USB cable
- iFile/Filza file manager
- SHSH blobs for your destination firmware
Step 1 Download Suarik's tfp0 patch from here.
Step 2 Install this debian package with iFile/Filza file manager.
Step 3 Download nvrampatcher tool from here.
Step 4 Now you need to SSH into your iOS device. To do this, simply launch Terminal and enter the following command –
Apple Ios 10 Update Download
ssh [email protected][IP Address of your device]
Remember, the default root password is always 'alpine'.
Step 5 Open another instance of Terminal and type in the following command –
scp nvrampatcher [email protected][IP Address of your device]:
Step 6 Now go back to the Terminal window you opened in Step 4. Enter the following command –
./nvrampatcher

Step 8 Now that you are on iOS 10.2, download Yalu jailbreak IPA file.
Step 9 Follow this jailbreak tutorial to use yalu102 jailbreak.
